The Rockland Ice Rink and Bay State Breakers are sad to announce the passing of Steve "OBIE" O'Brien. Steve passed on Monday August 9th from injuries he sustained from a lightning strike. OBIE has been an icon at the Rink and for the Bay State Breakers for many years. Obie coordinated housing for Junior players from around the world. He loved hockey and will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
